The Appearance Challenge
The spokesperson for Esquerra Republicana in the Congress of Deputies, Gabriel Rufián, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the appearance of Salvador Illa, accusing him of underestimating the intelligence of the deputies who participated in the investigative commission of the Koldo case. Rufián pointed out that Illa seemed to have not prepared adequately, adopting a casual attitude and underestimating the seriousness of the matter.

Rufián also refrained from commenting on the possible political alliances that his party could form after 12-M, limiting himself to stating that they will seek to associate with those who respect their members and voters. Although he acknowledged that all options are viable, he insisted that the discussion on the Catalan elections must transcend the polarization between Junts and ERC.
In addition, he reiterated his refusal to agree with the Catalan Alliance after the elections, arguing that fascism is unacceptable, even if it is disguised with pro-independence symbols.
