Arrests for thefts in commercial areas
The Mossos d’Esquadra have arrested three people in two different actions for thefts in commercial areas of Sant Cugat del Vallès. The first case took place last February 26, when two people stole a backpack from a minor in a restaurant on Avinguda Pla del Vinyet. In the second case, the theft took place on March 1st inside a vehicle parked at the restaurant on Camí de Ca n’Ametller.
Details of the first case
In the first case, the two thieves were located with the backpack they had stolen. Inside the backpack was a laptop and school supplies, with a total value of around 700 euros. The two men, aged 22 and 29, already had a history of robbery and theft, and were arrested and brought before the court.
Details of the second case
In the second case, a police force observed a person running away from the restaurant’s parking area, carrying a backpack. After verifying that there was a looted vehicle in the parking lot, they located and arrested the perpetrator with the stolen material, valued at around 3,000 euros, as well as the tool with which he had broken the windows.

The arrests are part of the device against theft and theft that is being carried out in commercial areas and axes of Sant Cugat.
