Sudden scores in the annual evaluation of the Fundació Hospital d’Olot i Comarcal de la Garrotxa
The Fundació Hospital d’Olot i Comarcal de la Garrotxa has recently received the results of the annual assessment carried out by the Department of Health, which is based on users’ perceptions of health services. In this sense, the 2023 Satisfaction Survey Plan (Plaensa) has shown that the primary care provided by the Olotí hospital exceeds the Catalan regional average.
The scores of the Primary Care Centers stand out
The Vall d’en Bas i Hostoles Primary Care Center and Sant Joan les Fonts, managed by the hospital foundation, have obtained scores of 8.75 and 8.58 respectively. These figures place them above the Catalan average, set at 7.72.
High scores and areas for optimization
In the Vall d’en Bas and Hostoles, 96% of users express their intention to return to the centre, with an excellent evaluation standing out in most of the questions. The identified areas of optimization relate to the ease of getting an appointment and the timeliness of consultations.
As for Sant Joan les Fonts, high scores have also been recorded in most of the indices evaluated, with special mention of the ease of getting an appointment and punctuality, although the need to improve the possibility of express the opinion of patients.
Responsibilities in local health care
The Fundació Hospital d’Olot i Comarcal de la Garrotxa manages two of the basic health areas of the region, positioning itself as a point of reference in the area. In contrast, responsibility for the areas of Olot and Besalú rests with the Catalan Health Institute.
